My name is Desiree, and since I was a kid I've always had a camera in my hand. My favorite thing used to be taking my disposable cameras and developing the pictures. I have an obscene amount of photos in keepsake boxes and my home is filled with photos of my loved ones and my art.

 

Growing up I had pictures to remember family members by, they have been very important to me for as long as I can remember. My mother was a model and I always felt inspired by her. So when I was 16 and was given the chance to hold my first SLR I was instantly hooked. I took this photo that just blew me away and ever since I have had this yearning to learn and grow more.
